BitFinance Revamps Executive Team With Stellar Additions

The recent move will add over 40 years of fintech and alternative asset management experience to the team.

Fintech startup BitFinance announced in a press release dated October 10 the addition of three battle-tested fintech and alternative asset management luminaries to its executive board.

These are Michael Conn, former CEO and Co-Founder of Ether Capital; Eli Broverman, Co-Founder of Betterment, and Orion Agarwal, former Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Investment Research Analyst at Standpoint Research. The aforementioned personalities will be joining the startup’s executive board, providing a cumulative 40-year professional experience in the sector.

Committed To Democratizing Finance

bitfinanceConn will be elevated to the position of President, Co-Founder, Chief Information Officer, and Board Member. He will work alongside Eli Blatt, CEO and Founder of BitFinance.

Blatt remarked that Conn’s experience and network in the alternative asset and crypto management sphere “is a huge asset as we seek to democratize access to alternative investments.”

He also served as COO and Managing Director for Strategy, Operations, and Development at AllianceBernstein from 2013 to 2015.

Conn said:

I couldn’t be more excited to join the BitFinance team as they build this exciting business. It’s extremely rare to have the opportunity to be part of a truly disruptive endeavor that also enhances the public good by expanding access to investment products historically only available to the wealthy. I can’t wait to work with this talented team committed to democratizing finance.

“Leveled Up Exponentially”

Eli Broverman prides himself as the Co-Founder of Betterment, dubbed the first-ever fintech unicorn for helping raise over $242 Million in venture capital. By 2020, the fintech unicorn is expected to grow into an $18.1-Trillion business. Broverman retains his position as Board Member. He joins Michael Conn as Executive Board member.

Meanwhile, Orion Agarwal occupies an elevated position at the fintech startup as VP of Capital Markets, and rightly so, since he has contributed in the finance and fintech research sector, covering Bitcoin Cash, Binance Coin, Zcash, and Polymath, to name a few.

“Our team just leveled up exponentially,” said Blatt, “and I feel extremely confident about our ability to execute on our vision to democratize finance by becoming the Wealth Manager for the People.”
